Bob and I lived just a few houses from each other in Garrett Park Estates. I enjoyed talking to him at reunions. I guess we should get used to losing so many, but it's hard.

I was very sad to read thenews of Bob's passing this morning. We gree up a few blocks from each other in Garrett Park Estates and spent time at each others houses after school (Garrett Park Elementary). We enjoyed catching up wit each other at the reunions, in fact last November Bob extended a Happy Birthday greeting on my 70th. My wife enjoyed meeting Bob and commented on,"What nice friends I had ," as a youngster. May he find everlasting Peace.

Same for me. I went to Garrett Park Elementary with Robert Dulaney, and we were in the same classes. I remember him as a really nice person. I'm saddened by the loss.

I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Bob Dulaney. I saw Bob at the 40th reunion in 2009 and shared the following memory with him. We were in the same ninth grade science class at Kensington Junior High. The teacher, Mr. Winner, used to emphasize his remarks by whacking his desk with a stick, which I believe was a golf club with the head cut off. He could be very caustic at times. Somehow Bob was frequently the object of Winner’s ire, probably because Bob was less inhibited than the rest of us about expressing himself.

Winner: What’s the largest cell you’ve ever seen?

Bob: Onion cell?

Winner: No, no Dulaney! A chicken egg! [Whack!]

And one time Winner was so provoked by something Bob said that he shouted: “Dulaney, you’re going to be in this class for 30 years!” [Whack!]

30 years. It seemed like an immeasurably long span of time at that moment. Not so long now.
