My Story:
Moved to Chicago burbs in 1970, Got married 1973. Graduated 1976 from optometry school. Had heart attack in 1995. Filed for divorce in 2000, 2 months later, got a heart transplant. Met the girl of my dreams in 2001. Opened a new practice in 2004, Got engaged at the same time...(always like to do major changes in 2's) Helped my fiance open a consignment boutique in 2008. Dora and I finally made it official last year. My oldest son opened his practice in Naperville, IL and his brother is attending his final year of Optometry school, and will be joining me in my practice after graduation. I'm very fortunate that all my kids live within an hour of my home, so I can see the grand kids whenever I want.
In fact, my 6 sibs, our 20 kids, and our 19 grand kids all live in the area save one who's in the Navy, and one in Texas, who's dying to move back.
