My Story:
After graduating from Valparaiso University in 1973 with an electrical engineering degree, got married and went to work for Collins Radio Company, which was soon bought by Rockwell International. Got a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University in 1979. The Collins Division of Rockwell was eventually spun off as a separate company as Rockwell Collins. For entire career, worked on classified Department of Defense contracts, including being the Project Engineer for the communication system on Air Force One and worked off and on for the TACAMO project. Held various engineer and engineering management positions at Collins throughout my whole career. Concluded career working on avionics control and display units that are used in many Chinook and other types of helicopters.
