My summer job after graduating for W.J. was for Montgomery Co. Rec. Dept, my future husband Steve and I were both assigned the same summer camp. I then went on to M.C. and later Maryland University. Steve and I married in l972 and I worked for Mont. Co. Governement until we had children. Brian was born in l975, and Alison was born in l977. I was a stay at home mom until my children went to school. Once my children were in school my friend and neighbor and I started a wall paper business. It was the perfect job because I could work just when my children were in school. I retired about the time my children graduated from college. In 2004 my husband suddenly died from an undiagnosed heart episode. That of course was quite a shock, but I was lucky to have great support from family and friends. I now spend quality time with my children, god-children and grand-son as well as my hobbies of golf and painting. Life is good. |
