Gail Scott-Parizer passed away on September 7, 2022, after a 14-year battle with a rare cancer, in Montgomery County, Maryland. She is survived by her husband, Michael Parizer, her daughter Emily Parizer-Velez, her son Trevor Parizer and siblings Cheryl Scott Williams and Jeffrey Scott. A lifelong Marylander, Gail was a teacher, nationally board-certified counselor, and administrator for the Montgomery County schools as well as a leader of parenting workshops. Gail was a principal at Charles Drew Elementary School.
Gail attended several Class of 1969 reunions. At WJ, Gail was involved in several plays, including Brigadoon and the Man Who Came to Dinner and was a member of the Keyettes.

I am so sad to hear of Gail's passing. I remember running imto her at Drew ES when my daughter attended it. We had a great conversation and I remembered how friendly and personable she was. I always enjoyed seeing her at reunions. I will miss her.
