Ed was my first best "guy friend". During senior year, we ate lunch together every day, and he tolerated my singing along with the Supremes on the senior cafeteria jukebox. We touched base off and on through college but then lost touch. Years later, I worked with Ed's wife, Nan, at Camp Tuckerman Girl Scout Camp, and met his four terrific kids.

So to Nan and all the rest of Ed's family, please know that my heart goes out to you, even though it's four years late. Ed was a sweet, wonderful guy, and my friendship with him will always be a fond memory.

About the only thing I can relate to about Eddie is that we were in the same Elementary school together, and the same Cub Scout troop - 454 or 459, one of the two?. Anyway, the reason that I'm writing this is that it SUCKS to see this "In Memory" column every time I access our website.
