I will always remember Bob's smile. It was radiant. He was cool as a cucumber and had such an wonderful personality. I think about him often and I know he would love to be at the reunion.

Bob was one of the first to leave us, at an age when we all really were fearless and indestructable. He was my roll model for enjoying and living life to its mostest! ..... god, what crazy good parties and times we had at the beach, at the farm pond. ..... yeah, that smile ...... what a smile :o) Bob, I'll always remember you and celebrate life with you.

Details of Bob's death: April 8, 1971 Bob was sailing with his brother, Jack off the California coast. Boat flipped, both guys were able to stay with the boat, but Bob died of exposure in his brothers arms. Tragic and so very, very sad.

Bob and I went all the way through school together, from first grade to graduation. We were particularly close from about fourth through eighth grade. He had a sly sense of humor and was a bit of a prankster, but everything was always in good fun. One day in fifth grade we sat in the back of our classroom finger-popping our cheeks (who remembers how to do that?) until the teacher (Mrs Murphy, can you believe there were that many Murphys in one class?) got exasperated and made us stay after school and pop our cheeks 500 times while keeping score. That'll make your mouth hurt! So long Bob, you leave many great memories behind!

Always in my heart. You touched so many people in ways that they may not know. I have never known any person not of family who made that same impression when you left this earth. You were my soulmate; and as we ventured into different avenues of life so brief before it was your time, I knew you would always be there for me; I would always be there for you. You sought me out just prior to your time, and that thought will always stay with me. I will always love you. You made me happy, as you did with everyone you touched.

When we meet again, no time will have passed; you will smile at me, I will smile back, and all will be good.

I truly miss your presence, but know that you are in good company. See you when,

Love,

Sharon

This still hurts. Bobby and I went to "Camp Timberlake" together one summer. What laughs we had!
